ROLE OVERVIEW

The IT Manager will report to the General Manager, in Singapore, and oversee all IT operations, ensuring efficient delivery of IT services aligned with organizational goals. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of technology and its business applications.


KEY OBJECTIVES &
DELIVERABLES


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


Strategic Planning:



  • Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for technological advancements and efficiencies.
  • Oversee the implementation of new technology solutions and upgrades.


IT Operations:



  • Manage external vendors.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure stability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure.
  • Deploy, monitor, maintain, and support all IT systems.
  • Oversee IT projects, including implementations, upgrades, and migrations.


Budgeting and Cost Management:



  • Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate with vendors and service providers for IT-related products and services.


Security and Compliance:



  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.G., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems.


Stakeholder Management:



  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide solutions.
  • Communicate IT strategies, policies, and procedures to senior management and other stakeholders.


Performance Monitoring:



  • Monitor and evaluate IT performance metrics for optimal operation.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT services and support.


Flexibility:



  • Adapt to the needs of the club and business, working operational hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. The Mandala Club operates across multiple sites, and the schedule will reflect this based on role and responsibilities.

The Right Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.G., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in IT management roles.
  • Proven track record of managing complex IT projects and teams.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure, applications, and security management.
