Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher

Social Bar and Bistro, is located right next to Raffles Place MRT. We are looking for a kitchen assistant/dishwasher to join our team.
Working hours:
44 hours per week
12pm-10pm or 1030pm (including 1-1.5 hour break)
Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing:
  Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Sort and rinse dirty dishes before loading them into the dishwasher.
• Handle and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment appropriately.
• Kitchen Assistance:
  Assist chefs and cooks in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, cutting meats, and measuring ingredients. Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Cleaning:
  Clean and sanitize all surfaces in the restaurant, including tables, chairs, counters, and floors, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Dust and wipe down fixtures, decorations, and equipment, sweep and mop floors.
• General Assistance:
  Assist with various tasks as needed, including but not limited to bussing tables, refilling condiments, and restocking supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Communicate effectively with restaurant staff and management to address any concerns or issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Basic kitchen experience is required for atleast 6 months.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Food safety and sanitation certifications are a plus
