Junior DevOps Engineer

Job Title:
Junior DevOps Engineer

Work Location:
Downtown Core, Singapore

Job Type:
1 year contract, subject to renewal

About the Role:

The Junior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for supporting and enhancing our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as managing the Kubernetes clusters.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment processes.
  
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize CI/CD workflows and ensure smooth software releases.
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to identify and address performance bottlenecks or issues.
  
• Work closely with software engineers to integrate automated testing and quality assurance processes into CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  
• Implement best practices for container orchestration, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (Iac) using tools like Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
  
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents related to CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes infrastructure.
  
• Any other ancillary tasks or works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.
  

Job Requirements:

• 
  
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Required to undergo Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) checks.
