Lorry Driver

Responsibility
As a Lorry Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of a diverse range of goods to various destinations. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to timely deliveries.

Job Description
- Safely transport a variety of goods from warehouses or distribution centers to customer locations.
- Ensure that all goods are securely loaded and unloaded, following proper handling procedures.
- Plan delivery routes using GPS navigation and knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and minimize fuel consumption.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the lorry, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition.
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, road regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all applicable safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including courteous interactions with customers and timely delivery of goods.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Complete delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Ensure all paperwork is properly completed and submitted to the appropriate departments.
- Able to carry heavy goods, roughly 20KG - 40KG.
- Able to work in pressure environment and need work under the sun.
- Need work at public holiday, weekend and overtime.
Working Location:
HENDERSON ROAD, 1ST trip will start at 6 am-630am
Requirement
*At least 2 Year(s) working experience and related field are required for this position.
*Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
*Must have a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license
*Familiar driving on Singapore roads or able to use GPS
*Strategic &
critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
*Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.
*Excellent customer service skills, including communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and teamwork spirit.
*Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
