M&E Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

1. To supervise M&
E subcon works and ensure subcontractors’ progress per the schedule set.

2. To prepare and arrange M&
E installation in accordance with approved drawings and materials.

3. To carry out site supervision on M&
E works and arrange inspections with RTO (Resident Technical Officers).

4. To ensure quality work to achieve CONQUAS (Construction Quality Assessment System) and/or QM requirements.

5. To coordinate M&
E works on-site with other trades.

6. To support the Safety team by ensuring subcontractors comply with safety procedures and requirements.

7. Liaise and work with relevant authorities/ subcontractors/ clients on shop drawings/ equipment submission, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.

Job Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.

2. At least 5 years of working experience in the construction field (preferably main contractor) is required for this position.

3. Collaborative team player and can interact effectively with all levels of management.

4. Confident and with strong presentation and communication skills.

5. Highly organised with a strong ability to prioritise across multiple projects.

6. Determined and results-oriented.
