This role is responsible for overseeing and managing operations in the clinic at SCAC. It is also a critical requirement for the Aeromedical Services Contract with RSAF. This role also provides direct liaison with the authority (RSAF) regarding contractual matters, and any other corporate clients which work with the clinic.
Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in providing patient care and to execute all ancillary and paraclinical tasks in the clinic, from administration and record-keeping to clinical measurements and triage.
  • Oversee and manage operations and administration of clinic.
  • Provision of exemplary customer service and rendering of service recovery to patients and clients.
  • Responsible for managing all clinic equipment and stores (medical or general) including pharmacy, conduct regular stocktake for accountability, plan and arrange for maintenance and replenishment.
  • Take on additional roles and perform tasks that are usually performed by the Clinic Assistants eg. phlebotomy, audiometry, ECG etc (if trained and qualified)
  • Assist HOD or immediate superior to plan, design, implement and execute all process improvement projects (QI projects). And this includes but is not limited to perform PDSA and all other future works on streamlining the process.
  • Always identify areas for incremental improvements and solve urgent problems.
  • Anticipate potential problems, source and manage available resources effectively and see through the completion of multiple projects simultaneously, meeting datelines.
  • Observe the proper disposal of wastes and adhere to standards of infection control practices.
  • Ensure that the admin office is kept neat and equipment are ready for use at all times.
  • Report defective facilities / equipment and activate Fault Reporting Center / Biochemical Healthcare Engineer when needed.
  • Monitor the stock level of the service's supplies and replenish stocks at regular intervals.
  • Receive and check supplies against Purchase Orders.
  • Liaise with vendors and raise the documents for repair services and spare parts as required.
  • Maintain the repair and service records of equipment and accessories.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in healthcare related field is an advantage
  • Healthcare related job experience
  • Experience in managing a clinic or healthcare organisation/facility
