Our clients who are locally based or headquartered in other countries come from a diverse array of industries such as Airlines, Logistics, Software, Media and Technology, Manufacturing, Retail, Trading, Commodities Trading, Shipping, Medical equipment, FMCG, Fund Management and Investment Holding Companies.




Role Introduction


This role will include handling all clients under the dedicated services section as assigned and will lead a team in completing all client requests and all compliance requirements including but not limited to all accounting, tax and secretarial compliances, in an accurate and timely manner.




Responsibilities


  • Lead a team of Client dedicated overseas consultants.
  • To be the local point of contact for all Client dedicated services as assigned.
  • To train, guide, support and manage staff providing CD services in various functions including but not limited to :


- Bookkeeping in various accounting softwares like Tally, Xero, Wave, Zoho etc. and MIS preparation


- GST and any other tax compliances as may be applicable


- Compilation of unaudited financial statements as per SFRS


- Application of licenses as may be required


- All Banking transactions as instructed by clients including online transfers, TTs, KYC, FATCA compliances etc


- Audit coordination


- Payroll, IR8A and IR21


- Liaising with third parties of clients like Vendors, Service providers, Statutory auditors, bankers for non routine matters, other government agencies


- Attend in person meetings with bankers, auditors and other parties as may be required


  • To create and monitor custom work tracking sheets for each client and ensure that the same are updated regularly along with workflow documentation.
  • To have regular meetings with Clients under the portfolio to develop rapport, update progress and carry out negotiations as required.
  • To ensure that all compliances for clients under CD services are completed well within deadlines.
  • To act as custodian for all items held by MMC on behalf of clients like and diligently maintain records for the same.
  • To continuously analyze the revenue, costs and profitability from each of the clients and take necessary steps in consultation with the management for strategic negotiations with clients.
  • To bring about continuous process improvements which may involve exploring various apps and softwares and take the lead in implementation and training staff for the same with a view to reduce overall costs and improve margins.
  • Any ad-hoc projects as assigned.


Requirements


  • CA or CPA qualification with working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards is a must.
  • Minimum 5 years singapore experience in bookkeeping, compilation, GST, payroll services is a must.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in handling an overseas team.
  • Familiarity with local secretarial practices and Companies Act and regulations of relevant local authorities/bodies is preferred.
  • Customer centric attitude while dealing with clients.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Good spoken and written communication skills.


Salary range :
SGD 4000 to 4500 per month
