About Our Client


Our client is forming a subsidiary in Singapore. They are a Global Asset Management company that offers a broad range of investment management strategies. Over the last 5 years, their international Private Client Group Assets have nearly quadrupled.
Singapore is a priority market for them, and they are launching as an accredited investor fund manager. Michael Page is currently partnering with them to recruit for the Managing Director position.


Job Description


  • Client Acquisition:
    Engage with potential High Net Worth clients identified through organization's marketing efforts. Facilitate the smooth transition of new clients to dedicated service and portfolio management teams.
  • Sales Team Development:
    Hire a sales team that will lead the client acquisition efforts.
  • Local Market Strategy:
    Partner closely with the internal team to design and lead the client acquisition strategy in the local market.
  • Sales Training and Support:
    Develop and implement a comprehensive sales training program for both new hires and seasoned sales professionals. Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance sales skills and drive performance.
  • Performance Management:
    Monitor overall and individual sales productivity, ensuring adherence to activity and client acquisition targets.
  • Effective Communication:
    Proven track record of excellent oral and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supervision, Compliance, and Operations:
    Oversee local operations and personnel, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant


  • Minimum 10 years of direct-to-consumer sales management experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience selling commissioned direct-to-consumer financial services to high-net-worth individuals.
  • Experience in hiring and building a team.
  • Career advancement that indicates a long history of success and a steady upward trajectory.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and strategic thinking skills are critical for this role.
  • Highly entrepreneurial nature with some risk appetite as this role would require you to be hands on.
