Manage the day-to-day administrative tasks related to orders and the logistical aspects of moving cargo. Enter orders into SAP, issue shipping documents, and communicate with customers and suppliers regarding open orders. Provide administrative support to the sales team.




Primary Accountabilities


- Manage order processing in SAP, arrange shipments, issuing order supporting documents, prepare full set of shipping documentation


- Communication with customers and suppliers on delivery related matters


- Coordinate and arrange shipment via Sea-, Train-, Airfreight


- Vendor management, including freight forwarders and cost suppliers


- Responsible for Purchase Orders in terms of documentation and planning


- Proactive communication with customers &
suppliers as well as freight forwarders on all levels


- Communication with Finance Department concerning accounts related matters


- Assist Sales Personnel with issuance of Quotations &
Enquiries


- Handling of material claims


- Attend to incoming calls and emails


- Any administrative duties that might be assigned from time to time




Requirements


- Min 3 years of experience in Sales &
Order Processing in a fast-paced work environment


- Fluent in English and preferably one other language


- Proficient in MS Office applications


- Strong communication skills


- Must be Singaporean or Permanent Resident


- Must be able to work with minimal supervision with a proven ability to multi-task, respond to needs quickly and efficiently as well as prioritize work with a strong attention to details


- Must have team spirit


- Willingness to make decisions and ability to take responsibility


- Possess a can-do attitude, proactive and solution-oriented
