The role objective of the Account Manager (AM) is to build and nurture relationships with multiple/volume accounts to identify and qualify opportunities for revenue growth and services at the clients' and Crayon Group.




The AM is expected to possess an in-depth knowledge of Crayon Group, the go-to-market and their customer segments. This expertise allows to develop long lasting trusted relationships to recruit and retain customers and partners.




Sales


Recruit New Customers/Partners:


  • Acquisition of New Customers/Partners in dedicated segment
  • Create and execute on account plans
  • Regular customer dialogue to understand customer needs and build service based Solutions to fulfill customer needs and create value
  • Initiate &
    manage "
    High volume"
    - sales promoting activities in cooperation with the respective business owners in Crayon Group
  • Build a healthy pipeline &
    manage opportunities/CRM
  • Lead generation &
    cold calling (inbound/outbound)
  • Networking
  • Use social media professionally
  • Understand Customer's/Partner's value proposition
  • Identify how Crayon Group services and vendor portfolio can increase customers'/partners' profitability


Develop Customer/Partner portfolio


  • Oversee the relationship with multiple accounts
  • Create and execute on customer/partner retention strategy
  • Account planning/portfolio management
  • Ownership of CPE (Customer and Partner Experience)
  • Monitor customer/partner preferences to have the right conversations with your customers/partners
  • Opportunity management to increase revenue on existing portfolio
  • Strategic conversations in the interface between business and IT, able to discuss with all levels of stakeholders
  • Drive Identification of customer/partner needs, e.G. to reduce time spent on software purchases, cloud management and billing and match these with Crayon Group services and offerings
  • Up-sell, cross-sell, additional sales for Crayon Group services and offerings
  • Analyze sales statistics (e.G. margin and profitability) to prioritize opportunities in your customer/partner portfolio
  • Increase more contact points at the customers' (Decision makers, stakeholders) and build solid relationships with relevant stakeholders


Collaboration


  • Cooperate with other sales resources and account team, build Account Plans aligned with relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure the right customer Bid/RFP strategies
  • Close cooperation with delivery teams (e.G. Services, SCA, technical resources) to ensure pre-sales support involving positioning of SCA/Cloud Solutions, pre-sales qualification and opportunity identification as well as post-sales ensuring a successful deployment
  • Involve relevant stakeholders to strengthen Crayon Group's overall deep relationships with senior executives and growing cloud consumption share in large or highly strategic accounts.
