Pricing Analyst (1 Year Contract)

Job Description Summary

An influential and innovative analyst / specialist who enjoys developing new and innovative life insurance products. In this role, you will be analysing pricing models and determining pricing strategies to increase AIA’s competitiveness and profitability. The work extends to ensuring regulatory product filing as well as product implementation and involvement in managing financial work related to AIA’s many campaigns and initiatives.

The Product Proposition team helps the business determine competitive pricing strategies to achieve AIA’s financial goals. We need great Actuaries who want to be part of something bigger;
to help nurture the financial wellbeing of our customers when they need us most. They analyse data and develop pricing models and products and collaborate with other business teams such as distribution and marketing to develop sales strategies and ensure our products are well designed and priced. It’s about finding new ways to not only better our customers’ lives but to better the communities and environments we live in.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

· Work on pricing of new and existing life insurance products and services with internal and external stakeholders with a high level of accuracy.

· Analyse, monitor and evaluate key financial metrics which support initiatives to achieve improvement for the customer, stakeholders and shareholders.

· Review the product related documents.

· Continual assessment, identification and implementation for product improvement and campaigns.

· Support the delivery of various regulatory filing, e.G. MAS, SDIC, FATCA etc.

· Assist the necessary system implementation work, UAT testing, Day 2 enhancement.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Sciences

· 3 years of experience in life insurance preferably with some pricing experience.

· Associate of accredited actuarial organisations (US, UK, Australia) or close to Associate.

· Proficient in MS Excel and Database handling.

· Prophet skills will be a plus.
