Principal Ai Scientist

We are looking for a Principal AI Scientist specializing in large language models and natural language processing. Responsibilities

• Lead the AI team in developing innovative AI solutions, from concept to deployment, to address critical business challenges.
  
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including research, product management, and data science, to define AI strategies and roadmaps.
  
• Drive the design and architecture of AI systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning and evaluate their applicability to our projects.
  
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
  
• Hands-on coding and development of AI models, algorithms, and prototypes.
  
• Contribute to research publications, patents, and intellectual property creation.
  
• Lead technical discussions and present complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Computer Science, AI, or related field. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
  
• Proven track record of leading AI teams and successfully delivering complex AI projects from concept to production.
  
• Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (e.G., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Huggingface), deep learning techniques, natural language processing and hardware optimization (e.G. TensorRT).
  
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.G., AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed computing.
  
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire technical teams.
  
• Demonstrated publication record in top-tier AI conferences or journals is a plus.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in deploying large-scale language models in production environments.
  
• Familiarity with ethical AI guidelines and best practices for mitigating bias in AI systems.
  
• Contributions to open-source NLP projects or significant involvement in the AI research community.
  
• Experience with multi-modal AI systems that integrate language with other data types (e.G., images, audio).
