Procurement Executive (Semiconductor)

Company’s Profile:

As one of the leading semiconductor equipment manufacturing companies in Singapore, they work with regional partners to provide repair and installation services to the largest semiconductor wafer fabs globally. They are now looking for a qualified Purchaser to join their expanding team!

Work location:
Kranji

Working hours:
Monday – Friday, 9am – 6.30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase semiconductor materials, spare parts, equipment, and services in line with customers’ schedules.
  
• Identify, evaluate and establish relationships with suppliers.
  
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure favorable terms for the company.
  
• Monitor and assess supplier performance, ensuring quality, delivery.
  
• Continuously seek new suppliers to expand the vendor pool and reduce supply chain risk.
  
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to support operations.
  
• Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to ensure that purchased components and materials meet quality standards.
  
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering efforts to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
  
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
  

Requirements:

• At least 2 – 3 years’ purchasing work experience in semiconductor or manufacturing companies
  
• Strong in negotiation, contract management and managing supplier relationships
  
• Experience with SAP system will be an added advantage
