Job Description for Programme Lead


Reporting to the Manager of Programme, the Programme Lead will be responsible for developing and managing the BR programme by working closely with existing bakery partners and recruiting new bakeries onboard the BR programme to save more unsold breads so as to serve more beneficiaries from partnering welfare homes across Singapore. This position is all about reducing food waste and serving the less privileged in Singapore. The position would also require good coordination skills to manage our day-to-day bread runs where our team of volunteer drivers are assigned to collect and deliver unsold bread to our beneficiaries, including manning the BR Emergency hotline after office hours on ad hoc basis. You will work closely with the Manager and the rest of the team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.




Job Description for Programme Lead – Bread Run Programme (BR)


Reporting to the Manager of Programme, the Programme Lead will be responsible for developing and managing the SGB programme by working closely with existing and getting more schools and pre-schools into our SGB programme to serve even more school children from low-income families. Besides that, the position would also require to coordinate our team of volunteer drivers who deliver food to our SGB beneficiaries. You will work closely with the Manager and the rest of the team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.




Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Passion for community work and making a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate volunteers effectively.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum A levels or diploma.
  • Proficiency in MS software usage
