Project Officer (Quantum Materials Theory)

A Project Officer position is currently available in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct theoretical research in quantum materials with a specialized interest in quantum Hall systems, Landau levels, Chern bands, and quantum geometric induced and topology related electronic and opto-electronic transport in such electronic systems
• Support research activities in the research group including writing numerical simulations and code, collaborating with experimental groups as well as other theoretical groups
• Collaborate with other members of the group on research, as well as facilitate groups research meetings and research seminars

Job Requirements:

• BSc in Physics
• Experience in theoretical research of quantum materials specifically in quantum Hall like systems
• Excellent skills in theoretical physics research, with an experience in quantum Hall systems, topology, and Chern bands
