Project Officer (Structural Dynamics/Structural Engineering)

The Protective Technology Research Centre (PTRC) of NTU is recruiting one project officer for the project on blast resistance of precast structures.
Key Responsibilities:

• Literature reviews and specimen preparation on current precast wall details and blast simulation.
• Prepare test setup and conduct tests
• Conduct post-test analysis and simulations
• Draft test analysis and simulation reports
• Conduct parametric studies to validate.
• Help Research Fellow to draft guideline

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree and good grades in courses such as Structural Dynamics and Structural Engineering.
• Familiar with blast simulation and relevant software such as AutoDyna and Ls-Dyna.
• Good knowledge of dynamic analysis and simulation
• Experience in experimental work (for model validation).
• Good knowledge of data statistics (curve fitting and formula derivation).
• Good knowledge of structural dynamics and blast analysis of structure.
