Job Summary:


This role requires a positive “can-do” attitude towards problem solving and delivering results. You will be part of a dynamic team working on a maritime electrification project including electric vessels and charging station aimed at reducing carbon emissions. Responsibilities:


  • Drive marinEV’s product line(s) towards commercialisation in line with its growth strategies and business plan to deliver a fleet of high-quality electric vessels and charging station assets.
  • Oversee the project construction phases (construction, integration, commissioning, testing, lesson learnt and optimisation) at the shipyard. This involves close monitoring / reporting of the delivery status against metrics such as performance, budget, schedule and quality.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to drive progress and resolve issues through periodic internal and external meetings, workshop sessions, site visits etc.
  • Responsible for managing all site related activities at the shipyard including the setup and supervision of marinEV’s site personnel and contractors. Maintain high team morale at all times.
  • Maintain strict compliance with QHSE standards set both internally and by the shipyard for all work carried out.
  • Prepare and submit monthly project progress report, include progress calculation &
    S Curve.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders such as engineering contractors, OEMs, shipyard, Class, operators and local authorities to drive progress and resolve issues through regular meetings, workshop sessions, site visits and joint inspections etc.
  • Take part in setting strategies for product execution such as scaling up fleet, design optimisation, selection of charging locations / technologies and build methodologies.
  • Proactively manage the interfaces of the project to ensure relevant inputs are received timely for incorporation into the design. This involves good coordination with the team internally as well as Client, Class and vendors externally.
  • Lead troubleshooting during construction, mechanical completion and commissioning phase of the project with the shipyard.
  • Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging technology, improvements and absorbing new practices from the market.
  • Collaborate with other COMPANY business units on synergies for technology innovations
  • Other tasks as requested.




Requirements:


  • Diploma in a technical subject. Degree qualified in a technical subject
  • Good use of Word and Excel
  • Willing to work at site. Involvement in design, construction and commissioning
  • Experience in electric vessels, vessel construction, piping, automation, battery, electrical
  • Able to write Progress Reports
  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience
