Job Summary

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing site quality assurance and quality control system, in compliance with the quality standards at site.

Job Responsibilities

• Engaging the project team to deliver high quality works;
  
  
• Leading the QA/QC team and training the site team on Structural and Architectural trades;
  
  
• Assessing site operations and procedures daily and recommending improvements;
  
  
• Providing insights for defects and recommending preventive measures;
  
  
• Preparing monthly reports for Management;
  
  
• Conducting Internal Quality Audits;
  
  
• Compiling trade information, test reports, and formalising documentation;
  
  
• Liaisingwith authorities (i.E. BCA on assessment to achieve target score, LTA on inspections and compliances)
  
• Adhering to safety practices in the workplace.
  
• Obtaining buy-in from project team towards quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
  
• Translating deep understanding of quality standards and requirements into site works.
  

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or construction related field
  
• Min. 3 years of building and/or civil engineering and 1 building project completion
  
• Experience in QA/QC and certified auditors would be an added advantage.
  
• Good knowledge of quality requirement of BCA, industry norms and contract specifications as well as structural &
  architectural works
  
• ISO 9000 Certified
