Quality Assurance (Qa) Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in writing and updating test cases, conducting manual tests, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the QA Lead with day-to-day testing tasks. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing and updating test cases to ensure they cover all functional requirements, acceptance criteria in user stories, and edge cases.
  
• Conducting manual tests for new features and bug fixes when necessary.
  
• Identify areas of improvement from QA perspective and follow-up with solutions
  
• Assist the QA Lead with day-to-day testing
  
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the manager
  

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
  
• Familiarity with test case management tools and defect tracking systems
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  

Nice to Have:

- Experience with automation testing tools and programming languages (e.G., Java, Python)

- Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.G., Git)

- Basic understanding of software development life cycles
