Job Description


This position will support K.U.S Pre-Cast (S) Pte Ltd projects in Singapore.


K.U.S Pre-cast is a part of K.U.S Group of Companies that was founded in 2008. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of pre-cast components in Singapore and Malaysia. As it maximized its 20-Acre manufacturing plant in South Malaysia, K.U.S Pre-cast has expanded swiftly to be the market leader in Singapore. We provide complete solutions for building and civil engineering projects.


The Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineer/Building) reports to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and assists in all costs and contractual issues in Sub-Contracts connected to the project.


Job Responsibility:


· Assists in all costs and contractual issues in Contracts connected to the projects.


· Reviews tender documents / requests for proposals to understand project details and requirements


· Responsible for the details and accurate quantity taking off, details measurements for all projects.


· Analysis of price comparison, and updating pre &
post quotation clarifications


· To call customer for awarded projects from project information/Gebiz to participate in their ongoing and also tender
Projects.


· Preparation of progress claim submission, VO submissions &
Final Account.


· Maintaining good documentation and get complete information for cost control/progress claims/ variation claim.


· Attend the technical meetings to get complete information for pre and post projects by attending at project site or by Zoom
Or Google meet.


· Any other Ad-Hoc duties as assigned by Superior.


Education Required:

· Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Building /Quantity Surveying
Experience Required:


· Open for Fresh Graduates
· Minimum 2 years of working experience in measurement of quantities, cost estimation in SG building construction/civil projects
Competencies and Skills Required
· Computer Proficiency, Microsoft office, AutoCAD and power point.
· Robust knowledge of materials and construction at site
· Strong measurement skill and ability to use measurement software.
· Good understanding of the principles of contracts, research and analytical skills.
· Communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly, listen to the feedback of clients – and relay this to
Colleagues.
Requirements
· Precast knowledge is advantage.
· Working independently, Accurate and Timely manner.
· Good knowledge in Contract &
QS procedures and pricing
