JOB PUPORSE:


The Regional Cybersecurity Specialist will be working closely across APAC to address customer concerns in cybersecurity related to Bayer medical device and DSB products. As a Regional Cybersecurity Specialist, the key responsibilities would be to consultant with customer teams, regulatory, legal, to address customer cybersecurity needs. The Regional Cybersecurity Specialist will represent APAC in global forums on relevant topics and facilitate information and collaterals sharing. Where required, he/she will conduct training (virtual or in-person) to internal stake holders on cybersecurity topics.




YOUR ROLE &
RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support pre- and post-sale cybersecurity and vendor assessments and product security questionnaires and provide technical input to contracting processes. Maintain accurate record of Bayer’s past responses to customer cybersecurity assessments.
  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries related to active vulnerabilities and Bayer’s risk and mitigation evaluation status.
  • Supplement customer engagements as required, when cybersecurity specific technical expertise is needed to support or advance the sales process.
  • Proactively coordinate with Global R&
    D to stay informed aboutcurrent vulnerabilities and potential threats to Bayer medical devices and software solutions;
    ensure communication cascade to internal and external stakeholders when active vulnerabilities and associated mitigation plans are identified.
  • Assist with operationalizing local data privacy regulation compliance and security best practices, with input from Global R&
    D.
  • Keep up to date with regulatory guidelines, industry trends and emerging technologies related to cybersecurity. Maintain current understanding of changing local regulatory requirements and communication impact, including necessary adaptations, to key stakeholders within the APAC Radiology organization.


WHO YOU ARE:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Cybersecurity, IT Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor, medical device, and SaaS cybersecurity assessments.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare IT/ Radiology IT infrastructure and security best practices.
  • Prior user experience with SAP and CRM systems
  • Strong understanding around various cyber standards, data privacy regulations applicable to region APAC
  • Ability to understand, articulate and solve medical device cybersecurity issues independently.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as strong customer relationship focus and skillset, with confidence to de-escalate customer concerns.
  • Excellent command of both oral and written English plus native-level command of local language Hands-on mentality, self-motivation, team-player
