Research Engineer I / Ii (Computer Science/Aerospace Engineering/Operation Research)

The Air Traffic Management Research Institute (ATMRI) is inviting applications for the position of Research Engineer I/II.
Under ATMRI (http:
//atmri.Ntu.Edu.Sg/), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore the candidate will be part of a dynamic research team to research and develop Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics models for Air Traffic Management.
Key Reponsibilities:

• Support research and development related to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applied to Air Traffic Control and Air Traffic Management.
• Develop algorithms and models (Deep Learning/Deep Reinforcement Learning), perform data mining, data analytics for advanced Air Traffic Management concepts.
• Support Principal Investigator/Team Lead with project management activities and preparation of progress reports.
• Develop prototypes and intelligent tools for Air traffic management.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with industrial and academic partners

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Aerospace Engineering/Operation Research or equivalent
• Experience in programming:
  excellent knowledge of Python Programming Languages
• Demonstrated project experience related to applied Machine Learning, Data Mining, Air Traffic Control or Air Traffic Management.
• Good English writing and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and be a team player.
