Research Engineer I / Ii (Computer Science/ Ai-Based Design)

A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a Research Engineer to work on AI-based Design. This role requires a passion for innovation, the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, and a commitment to contributing to groundbreaking discoveries in project-based research.
Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and team members/engineers to design and implement AI-based Design (layout generation/media enhancement/image processing).
• Assist in data curation and dataset construction and conducting experiments/user studies for project-based research topics.
• Assist in developing algorithms and models to enhance layout and multimedia content (image/video).

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree or Bachelor's Degree in computer science/engineering.
• Solid knowledge in Computer Vision, especially in image/video generation and enhancement.
• Relevant publication as main author (1st or 2nd ) in top-tier AI/Computer Vision conferences(e.G. CVPR/ICCV/AAAI).
• Proficient in programming languages and frameworks relevant to machine learning, specifically Python and PyTorch. Maintaining/contributing to popular code repositories in GitHub is preferred.
• Able to test, debug and optimize existing code base and other features.
• Excellent communication skills and good problem-solving skills.
