Research Scientist (Loss And Thermal Analysis)

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering invites applications for the position of Research Scientist.
The Research Scientist will work on a project to conduct the research on development of high-power motor system.
Key Responsibilities:

• Development of new motor design for electric motor drives, focusing on loss and thermal analysis.
• Development of new control algorithms for electric motor drives, focusing on loss and thermal analysis.
• Experimental testing for high-power motor system, focusing on loss and thermal analysis.

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
• Expertise in motor design, and testing
• Knowledge in analytical and numerical modelling
• Publication track record is an advantage
• Proficiency in English
