Resident Technical Officer C&S (Ferry Terminal)

Job Description &
Requirements

• To carry out site supervision and inspection of the works including any off-site manufacturing as instructed by the consultant team so as to ensure that the works are constructed to required quality and accuracy complying to Authority requirements.
  
• To monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately.
  
• To provide standing supervision as and when required and as directed by the consultant team.
  
• To check services routes and contractor’s setting out and report any deviations to the consultant team.
  
• To verify reports and claims submitted by contractors.
  
• To record all variations as instructed or approved by consultant team.
  

Requirements

• Candidate must be registered with BCA/IES as Resident Technical Officer
  
• At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  
• Preferably Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
  
• Required Skill(s):
  supervision in piling, foundations, concrete works, structural steel construction, precast construction. Supervision of architectural works.
  
• Experience in supervising marine structural works is added advantage.
  
• Able to start work by:
  tentative mid Aug 2024
