Resident Technical Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect all marine and coastal construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  
• Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications.
  
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve technical issues.
  
• Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on work progress, compliance, and any deviations from the plans.
  
• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant environmental and safety regulations.
  
• Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all site activities, inspections, and incidents.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in coastal and marine construction projects.
  
• Certified Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with accreditation from the Singapore Institute of Engineers (IES) or other relevant bodies.
  
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to coastal and marine works.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
