We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Resource Development Specialist.




Responsbilities:


  • The position seeks to provide cross functional coordination support and technical oversight in funding proposal development, funding compliance and report generation in line with donor/corporate/partner/volunteer group requirements for the planning, funding, implementation, evaluation and reporting of the respective programmes they support.
  • The position will focus heavily on proposal coordination and design, as well as ensuring regular project reporting and the necessary compliance. It will also include donor/partner engagement and information management.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as programme development, emerging services and centre-based teams on project funding, implementation, and evaluation with all relevant staff.
  • Develop concept papers and prepare proposals to external stakeholders, in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor funding status for each program to identify possible funding gaps and ensure smooth transitions from one grant to the next.
  • Obtain funding for program’s unfunded sections by identifying grants.
  • Prepare quarterly, annual and end-of-project narrative reports, newsletters, situational reports and other reports as necessary.
  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation, research and documentation.
  • Liaise with the operations and finance departments to ensure the compiling/collating of stakeholder management reports.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.G., International Development, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration) required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, proposal development, and grant management within the nonprofit sector or related field.
  • Strong understanding of donor/partner requirements and demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful funding strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
