Job Summary:


As a Guest Relation Officer, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring that every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service. You will be responsible for managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.




Responsibilities:


  • Greeting and Seating:
    Welcome guests as they arrive, manage reservations, and efficiently seat them according to their preferences and restaurant capacity.
  • Guest Relations:
    Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met and their dining experience is memorable.
  • Reservation Management:
    Handle phone and online reservations, confirming details and special requests, and managing the reservation system.
  • Customer Service:
    Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Menu Knowledge:
    Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including daily specials and promotions, to assist guests with their selections and inquiries.
  • Communication:
    Liaise between the kitchen, serving staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
  • Event Coordination:
    Assist in organizing and managing special events, private dining experiences, and group reservations.
  • Feedback Collection:
    Gather guest feedback and provide reports to management for continuous improvement of service quality.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure adherence to all restaurant policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.


Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a guest relation role within a restaurant, club, or hotel setting. Experience in both Asian and Western establishments is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in reservation management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
  • Friendly and Approachable;
    Possess a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Possesses genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
