What you can expect in Sales Executive Role at VIKING:




Responsibilities:


· Participate in development of sales strategy within own area of responsibility and implementation in market.


· Contribute to the development and implementation of sales processes, concepts and excellence in both the administration and the market.


· Responsible for VIP, A and B customers.


· Promote, market and sales of VIKING´s sales and services.


· Participate in making budgets, KPI's, and input for products/services.


Tasks:


· Primary task to drive sales, increase service activity and increase sales revenue for the Marine Fire Service department.


· Drive sales of VIKING’s Shipowner Agreements and products in Singapore including that of other responsible territories, as necessary.


· Negotiate and sign Shipowner Agreements and secure utilization of contracts.


· Create and maintain overview of Ship Owners and Ship Managers.


· Create account plan(s) for all customers within responsibility.


· Visit, build and maintain relationship with Ship Owners and Ship Managers.


· Maintain VIKING’s CRM system.


QUALITY &
RULES


· Owner Sales must be familiar with and comply with internal VIKING rules, hereunder VMS, VIKING’s IT rules, internal instructions, and instructions in relevant work manuals.


· Ensure that work is performed according to Quality and Safety standards and practices.


· Responsible to stop any unsafe acts and behaviour of colleagues.


· Owner Sales, Key Account Manager must be familiar with and comply with relevant rules concerning VIKING products and services.


Preferred Qualifications


· Diploma / Degree / Higher Technical Education in relevant field(s)


· Three (03) years of Equal / Relevant job experience, at employment.


· Good business sense, commercial and technical skills with relevant experience.


· Good planning skills, incl. Follow up and reporting (progress).


· Understanding of Economy.


· Good experience of project / service work and contract handling &
management.


· Ability to express him / herself fluently both in written and verbal English.


· Flexible to work in non-business hours.


· Able to work independently and to meet deadlines.


· Team player.


· Exerts sound judgment, discretion and preservation of confidentiality.
