Senior Assistant Director, Finance

LKCMedicine Finance is currently looking for a candidate to join us as our Senior Assistant Director, Finance. The incumbent shall support the Deputy Director, Finance to ensure the day-to-day functioning of the Finance Department. The role encompasses Financial Accounting (FA), Financial Planning &
Analysis (FP&
A) and Research Support &
Projects (RS&
P) functions.
The Senior Assistant Director, Finance shall get to work with various stakeholder departments in LKCMedicine and Schools/Departments/Colleges (SDC) at NTU. The incumbent shall be provided with opportunities to understand how LKCMedicine manages its annual budget, pool of funds and tuition fees/grants to run a medical school, contribute to the medical research community and groom the future doctors of Singapore;
whilst ensuring alignment to NTU's approved financial framework and policy covering financial approving authority limits, governance principles and policies over key financial areas.
The incumbent is required to have a Degree in Accountancy / professional accounting qualifications (e.G. Chartered Accountant) or degree in other discipline with 12 years of working experience, including 7 years in people management.
A good understanding of the Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and relevant finance / IT knowledge needed for automation of accounting processes, knowledge of SAP S4 Hana version and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint would contribute to the success of this role.
The incumbent should be independent, resourceful, strategic thinker coupled with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal / business partnering skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
