Overview
The successful candidate will join the NUHS Group Digital Office focused on the delivery of projects supporting NUHS digital strategy, working with stakeholders across the NUHS Cluster.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will ensure digital projects run smoothly, achieve high levels of adoption and fulfil their assigned KPIs. Current projects include Telemedicine including the Virtual Consultation Platform (VCP) and TeleConsultation in the NUHS Mobile App;
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) including both technology team delivered, and citizen developer delivered automation;
and to shape and deliver other Digital initiatives as assigned by the Group Chief Digital Officer.
The successful candidate will have experience of the healthcare industry, processes and practices, information technology implementation experience, the ability to manage projects and programmes across the NUHS organisation, and the ability to influence stakeholders including front-line workers, operations staff, and clinicians. The role encompasses all areas of planning and implementation including forming work-plans, generating budgets, managing members of the Group Digital Office Team, and planning for future manpower requirements.
Job Responsibilities

  • Define and implement plans for scale up and adoption of digital initiatives across NUHS covering the dimensions of people, process and technology
  • Lead implementation of selected digital initiatives across the cluster
  • Form and direct cross functional and cross institution teams including digital office, clinician, IT and operations staff, for digital solution development and delivery
  • Ensure development of digital workplan documents and papers for budget approval, procurement approval and award
  • Identify and manage interdependencies across digital initiatives through leadership and stakeholder influence
  • Identify changes required to digital plans and transformation execution to ensure success for NUHS
  • Guide, coach and manage members of the Digital Office Team supporting them in their work


Requirements

  • Degree/diploma in Healthcare Discipline, IT, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years' Healthcare provider experience
  • Experience leading in a transformation programme, consulting, or systems integration environment
  • Experience in guiding organisations through the management and execution of transformational technology enabled change programmes
  • Excellent inclusive communication skills
  • Strong skills in understanding and influencing business stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills, accountability and ownership, takes action to makes sure things happen
  • Has implemented transformational change in large complex multi-disciplinary environments
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, and influence at all levels of the organisation
  • Collaborative nature, seeks out opportunities to work with others to realise progress
  • Structured thinker with ability to organise their work and that of others
