We are looking for individual who is highly motivated and a team player to provide operations support to T&
M Business, predominantly in Carbon Trading, FX Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives and Cryptocurrencies Derivatives and be part of the DDOM Journey towards achievement of TMO Control Tower Vision.
Key Accountabilities

  • To complete all work within the stipulated SLA (Service Level Agreement).
  • To adhere to work procedures and complete all work with no audit issue.
  • To complete work without Breach of Banking Secrecy or Operational Risks/Loss.
  • Provide end to end transaction management and settlement support for T&
    M products across various regions.
  • To provide timely and accurate settlement processes.
  • Monitoring of the life cycle of each trade which comprise of validation, periodic fixing, settlement and reconciliation.


Responsibilities
As a Treasury &
Markets Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the settlement process for the various financial instruments, including carbon credits, FX derivatives, cryptocurrencies derivatives and commodity derivatives. Your role will involve precise settlement, reconciliation, documentation, and operations risk management control across these markets.

  • Multi-Derivatives Settlement:
    Execute the settlement of carbon credits, FX derivatives, cryptocurrencies, and commodity derivatives, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with trade confirmation, including but not limited to the task of performing rates fixing, monitoring of trade expiration process, etc.
  • Reconciliation:
    Conduct daily and monthly reconciliation of trading transactions across these diverse markets, promptly resolving any discrepancies or exceptions, include inter-system reconciliation.
  • Static Setup:
    Securities and Commodity generators configuration.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain a comprehensive records of products SOP, including invoicing management and settlement records for each asset class.
  • Counterparty Communication:
    Collaborate closely with counterparties, brokers and T&
    M in each market, confirming trade details and resolving settlement issues.
  • Operations Risk Management:
    Monitor and manage settlement related operation risk across the various asset class, implementing risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization.
  • Reporting:
    Generate and submit required reports to the regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders for the relevant asset class, ensuring precision and timeliness
  • Process Optimization:
    Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization, automation and efficiency enhancement across all derivatives markets to streamline settlement operations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in finance are a plus.
  • Previous experience in settlement operations for carbon trading, FX derivatives, cryptocurrency derivatives, and commodity derivatives or related financial roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental markets, FX markets, cryptocurrency markets, and commodity markets.
  • Proficiency in settlement systems - AMH (SWIFT), MS Excel and coding skill preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to diverse asset classes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple asset classes simultaneously.
  • A passionate commitment to environmental sustainability and a desire to make an impact in diverse financial markets.
  • Able to work on public holidays and at split locations
