Our Client:
I’m currently working with a client, a prominent water treatment solutions provider based in Singapore. They specialize in designing and building advanced water and wastewater treatment systems for industrial applications. Their offerings span a wide range of technologies, from conventional methods to state-of-the-art systems like reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration.

The Responsibilities:

• During the prospecting phase, provide the technical sales team with support on electrical and automation aspects by estimating costs and clarifying the scope of supplies for water and wastewater systems
  
• Liaise and communicate with OEM partners, agents, distributors, and end-user customers regarding technical details and specifications of EICA (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) components
  
• Create electrical and control panel drawings using AutoCAD or Eplan, generate BOM (Bill of Materials) lists, and select appropriate hardware components for the projects
  
• Develop PLC and HMI (Human Machine Interface) programming, using platforms like Siemens and Allen Bradley, to manage functional and process controls of water and wastewater systems
  
• Negotiate with and manage sub-suppliers and subcontractors for the procurement of wiring, cabling works, and the fabrication and assembly of control panels, ensuring their timely and accurate completion for installations
  
• Supervise on-site installations, oversee electrical panel testing, configure instrumentation, and handle the commissioning of automation systems
  
• Track and manage procurement schedules and production progress for cabling, wiring, and PLC control panel work to align with project timelines
  
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&
  M) manuals related to electrical and PLC components to our distributors, agents, and end-user clients
  

The Requirements:

• Diploma /Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  
• Good Interpersonal relationship and communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English
  
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of working experience in industrial /equipment production or engineering projects would be advantageous
