In this role, you will drive manpower development through policy analysis, formulation, and planning for the social service sector to ensure a competent and future-ready workforce, especially for key professions. What you will be working on Brief Description of Job Scope Drive manpower development through policy analysis, formulation, and planning for the social service sector to ensure a competent and future-ready workforce, especially for key professions. Key Responsibilities - Conduct deep-dive analyses and identify gaps and weaknesses in sector manpower with regard to skills, training needs, progression pathways and profession-specific issues. - Drive and coordinate tripartite discussions between government, academia and industry to ensure that manpower development programmes and initiatives keep pace with the needs of social service agencies. - Conceptualise and formulate comprehensive jobs and skills strategies. - Develop/review policies on support for professional and leadership development. What we are looking for - Tertiary education in a related discipline, with interest in the social sector. - Good understanding of Singapore’s social service sector/ landscape would be an advantage. - Creative, analytical, resourceful and highly motivated. - Strong systems-thinking and policy development skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills;
comfortable working with people of all levels and able to build good collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Effective team player with good team and project management skills - Ability to translate policy considerations into implementation, balancing strategic policy objectives with practical ground realities.
