This role will be part of the Infrastructure Team that oversees the day-to-day enterprise network operations of the Firm and Cloud Tenant. He/she is responsible for maintaining and administering the Firm’s corporate on-premises and Cloud networks, and mitigation relating to network security, business continuity planning, crisis management and compliance.
The candidate should possess a passion for data protection, proven information security experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and should be self-motivated and have an eye for details. This is a professional level position that requires strong technical and analytical skills. The position reports to the Infrastructure Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for all network related projects which involves planning, designing, procurement, developing, configuring and commissioning networks for regional offices and firm’s multi-cloud network infrastructure.
- Provide network configuration and troubleshooting for all network physical devices such as routers, switches, wireless network and load balancers etc. across the regional offices and firm’s multi-Cloud tenant.
- Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting network problems for all regional offices and firm’s multi-Cloud tenant.
- Review, maintain and enforce network security and compliance issues on all network solutions across regional offices and firm’s multi-Cloud tenant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network security policies and procedures.
- Perform daily health checks to ensure all services met Service Level Agreement.
- Ensure network security and policies conform to the Firm’s audit and risk compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular network assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Liaising with network carriers and external vendors to ensure services are met according to the Service Level Agreement.
- Perform Capacity planning and network documentation.
- Manage and maintain Data Center facilities, cleanliness and security (UPS, FM200, power, cooling and physical access).
- Provide level 2 - (24 x7) support relating to all network issues.
- Keep abreast of new and emerging network technologies. Evaluate and recommend improvements whenever applicable, eg leveraging AI to optimize network operations, minimizing downtime.
Job Requirements:
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience in the network field.
- Candidate shouldpossess CCNA/CCNP and other relevant Network certifications or equivalent.
- Hands-on L2/L3 experience in supporting and troubleshooting in network and multi-cloud environment.
- Proficient in implementing and managing network devices such as Switches, Routers, Servers, Cables, Racks, Wireless network.
- Proficient in implementing and managing network routing protocols/technologies such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IPV6, MPLS, QoS and network security.
- Prior experience with multi-cloud networking, computing and security will be an advantage.
- Exposure to network equipment (Cisco, Aruba, HP, Fortinet, F5, etc.) will be an added advantage.
- Candidate must havea good understanding of ITIL, including Service and Change Management
- Possess goodanalytical and troubleshooting skills in the area of troubleshooting and rectification.
- Good verbal, writtencommunications skills, and a self-motivated team player, capable of working with minimal supervision.
