Senior Network & Systems Engineer (Huawei)

ey Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration and migration of the Huawei Optixtrans E6616 system within the existing rail communication infrastructure, ensuring optimal compatibility and performance.
  
• Configure system settings to meet the unique operational demands of rail environments.
  
• Develop and implement detailed migration plans, working closely with the fiber migration team to ensure a synchronized approach to network upgrades and expansions.
  
• Collaborate effectively with the fiber migration team to align migration activities and ensure seamless network functionality.
  
• Monitor system performance during the deployment phase, swiftly addressing any integration issues.
  
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to both the CBN and fiber migration teams, enhancing team synergy and project efficiency.
  

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Extensive experience with Huawei networking equipment, particularly the Optixtrans series, in a deployment capacity.
  
• Prior experience in similar projects within the rail or transportation sector, with a proven track record in network configuration and migration.
  
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple facets of a deployment project under tight deadlines.
  
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to rapidly changing project requirements.
  
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to facilitate collaboration across technical and operational teams.
