Senior Product Designer

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about delivering an outstanding user experience via exceptional and intuitive application design. As our Product Designer, you will be working within our product team to propose design solutions, contextualise user problems and strategise for new features or feature refinements so as to turn user findings into intuitive and effective design solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing the software interfaces for our PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) and SaaS (software-as-a-service) products and retail marketplace asset tokenisation platform, along with additional responsibilities relating to digital marketing surfaces.

The ideal candidate will be skilled at each stage of the design process but always focused on the needs of the customer and the higher-level company strategy. This includes close collaboration with other teams in the company including Engineering, Operations and Marketing. This role reports directly to the product design lead.

InterOpera is a Singapore-based company that develops and implements blockchain technology to provide the infrastructure needed for digitalization of capital markets products, by focusing on inter-chain bridging and interoperability across blockchain platforms. Shareable Assets Pte. Ltd. is its wholly-owned subsidiary operating under a capital markets services license from the MAS.

What we are building:
Ultimate Bridge of Capital Markets

InterOpera is building an interoperable layer 1 network using proprietary RDOS (Regulated Defi Operating System) to directly interconnect investors. RDOS is a PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) product of the interoperable blockchain infrastructure for capital markets participants (Governments, Financial Institutions, and Investors). RDOS acts as a gateway to unlock and enable blockchain-based efficiency within the current regulatory and securitization framework via smart contracts. As the ultimate middle-layer product for market participants, RDOS improves efficiency for participants without sacrificing investor protections;
it also future-proofs the same market operators and participants. From inception, RDOS enhances financial inclusion by:
1) creating true access-to-market 2) enabling legal ownership of tokenised assets, and 3) greatly reducing transaction costs.

Shareable Assets, which is InterOpera’s wholly-owned subsidiary, operates a Singapore retail marketplace offering end-to-end lifecycle automation of digitalised financial assets, from issuance to listing and trading.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design, and develop the user interaction and user experience of our digital applications used by customers and internal teams
  
• Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research
  
• Work with cross-functional teams to build concise user-centric visions and journeys
  
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure quality, product excellence and overcome technical challenges
  
• Constantly monitor the quality of the holistic experience and refine it to achieve maximum business benefit
  

Requirements and skills

• A bachelor's degree in Design from an accredited educational institution or equivalent practical experience
  
• At least 3 years’ experience in a product design or UI/UX designer role, ideally in a startup environment including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
  
• Strong portfolio showcasing excellent visual design skills in designing for web and mobile products that demonstrate deep understanding of UX design principles
  
• Proficient with common design tools including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc
  
• An understanding of industry design trends, best practices, and emerging user behaviours
  
• Proven experience across iOS, Android, and Web platforms collaborating with Product Development, Marketing/ Brand and Engineering designing will be advantageous
