Senior Research Fellow (Analytical Chemist, Oligo Synthesis & Analytics Development)

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow (Analytical Chemist, Oligo Synthesis and Analytics Development).
The key job purpose of the Analytical Chemist for oligonucleotide synthesis is the development and validation of analytic method development for oligonucleotide synthesis, and to support operations related to oligonucleotide synthesis, ensuring efficient and accurate production of high-quality oligonucleotides. This role involves working with a team of scientists, developing new and optimizing synthesis protocols in oligo modifications and conjugation, managing resources effectively, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in oligonucleotide synthesis processes. This role aligns with the University's key research pillar of Future Health.
Key Responsibilities:

• Development and validation of analytic method development for oligonucleotides
• Establishment of analytic method workflow.

Job Requirements:

• PhD in organic chemistry and relevant fields
• Demonstrated track record in laboratory research, analytics process development esp in HPLC and LCMS
