The Nanyang Technological University NTI-NTU Corporate Laboratory is seeking to hire a Senior Research Fellow. The selected candidate will innovate in semiconductor packaging, focusing on metallization and wafer packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize plasma-enhanced metallization, vacuum coating processes, and leading R&
D efforts in material science for device performance enhancement. - Drive the development and implementation of advanced metallization techniques.
- Propose relevant vacuum coating solutions, conducting plasma simulations to refine processes.
- Oversee the transition from experimental designs to scalable solutions.
- Additionally, the role requires preparation and delivery of comprehensive reports to satisfy the stipulations of funding entities and corporate mandates.
Job Requirements:
- Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or science discipline is required.
- At least ten years of specialized post-doctoral experience.
- Expertise in plasma simulations (ANSYS, COMSOL) and a strong track record of research publications and successful grant applications are essential.
- Applicants must demonstrate effective collaboration skills in multidisciplinary settings.
