Senior Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Involves in all aspects relating to the Design and Construction Management of all types of Civil and Structural System.
  
• To lead the Engineer team, carry out civil and structural engineering jobs in front end engineering design, detail engineering design.
  
• To generate project specification, design philosophy, calculation template to comply with clients’ requirement and local authority’s requirements.
  
• To Provide logistical support (site utilisation) when needed, as requested by sub-contractors.
  
• To be the liaison for the coordination of different trades within the same discipline.
  
• Responsible for all on-site engineering issues pertaining to site matters.
  
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and attend to clients queries to ensure timely work arrangements.
  
• Involve in day-to-day management of site supervision of construction activity to ensure site works are carried out as per schedule and local authorities’ quality standard.
  
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
  
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering/Building Construction or any equivalent qualification.
  
• Site experience on Super structure works for reinforce concrete, Steel structures and Precast structures
  
• Experience/Knowledge in Bridge Construction/ Crosshead/ Lifting Frame /Launching Gantry Operation/ Pre-cast Segment Method/ MRT/ LTA is an advantage.
  
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in local construction industry would be advantageous.
  
• Good team player and able to work independently
  
• BCSS Certificate
  
• Familiar with the Local authorities’ requirements for civil and structural submissions
  
• Possess strong leadership qualities and analytical and reasoning abilities.
  
• Ability to read, analyses, and interprets common technical information, contracts reports and instructions.
