job description
- Attend on services and troubleshooting of the new gen. 2 Stroke EC engine (eg.,ME-B, ME-C) &
DF engine components - Carry out service and repair on HPS incl chain drive, HCU incl FIVA valve and Alpha lubricator, ECS modules.
- Capability on modifications for EPL as per IMO regulations.
- Handle onboard overhaul of 2-Stroke engines fuel pump onboard - eg.,Wartsila RTA - Check/replacement of suction delivery and spill valves and injection timing adjustment, and MAN MC fuel pump together with VIT .
- Assist with inspection, installation (incl. engine alignment), repair, upgrading, troubleshooting and overhaul of diesel engines and auxiliary equipment.
- Communicate with agent/ship owner reps/Class/Goltens/sub-contractor including arrangement of work/entry permit
- Timely reporting on job status and technical issues
- Preparation for job, technical information, work and manpower plan, schedule, tools and tackles. Daily toolbox meetings with the team on commencement.
