Service Technician (6 Months Renewable Contract)

Job purpose:

Provide training, installation, troubleshooting, repairs, testing and maintenance of field devices professionally, delivering service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Build / Assemble mechanical / electronic components according to requirements.
  
• Inspect machines and run diagnostic tests to uncover potential technical or functionality issues, and determine appropriate solutions.
  
• Perform repairs and/or maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems for maximum reliability.
  
• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventive measures to clients.
  
• Manage on site deployment / installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs.
  
• Issue Job Order / quotation of spare parts
  
• Provide service and customer support during site visits.
  
• Preparation of service reports and records.
  
• Work closely with team members in customer support, field test, deployment and arrange the service/deployment schedule.
  
• Possess good attitude, and willingness to learn
  
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
  

Requirements:

• Able to communicate with customer in Mandarin
  
• Able to multi tasks and adapt to the fast-paced work environment
  
• A team player with positive working attitude and problem solving initiatives
  
• Customer focused and service oriented
  
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Able to work independently and keen to learn
  
• Education – Diploma in Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  
• Experience – Min 1 year experience in servicing appliances/ equipment/ machines. Candidates with no prior experience, but possess relevant qualifications will be considered.
  
• Experience – Able to troubleshoot and repair both electrical and electronic components inside the machine/ equipment.
  
• Others — Own a transport will be an added advantage (Required to travel to customer's site). Proficient in MS Office (Power Point, Words, Excel)
