Software Engineer

Salary up to S$4,500

1 year contract (renewable subject to performance)

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze user and system requirements thoroughly.
  
• Design components or modules within an architecture, and effectively communicate designs using supporting documents such as flowcharts and sequence diagrams.
  
• Implement efficient code based on software designs and specifications.
  
• Prioritize and execute tasks across the software development life cycle.
  
• Conduct testing and debugging of application code.
  
• Perform validation and verification testing to ensure quality.
  
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to enhance and resolve issues with products.
  
• Develop front-end and back-end solutions using low-code platforms like Outsystems.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Software Engineer.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  
• Proficiency in software development and maintaining production systems.
  
• Familiarity with at least one of the programming languages:
  Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  
• Experience with one of the major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) is advantageous.
  
• Knowledge of serverless architectures, microservices, and API gateway.
  
• Familiarity with front-end development using React, Angular, or Vue.Js is a plus.
  
• Understanding of relational databases (e.G., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.G., DynamoDB).
  
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
  
• Willingness to learn new technologies and skills as required.
