Solution Analyst - Finance Automation Robotics

We are seeking a Solution Analyst - Finance Automation Robotics / Accounting Specialist ready to assist Finance to innovate and explore the possibilities for automating financial work processes and working with other citizen development tools. This position will be based in Shanghai, Singapore, or Mumbai. This role partners with finance functional owners in leading the design, development, and testing of complex and in-depth RPA solutions in accordance with enterprise leading practices. You will work cross-functionally with business operations and business analysts to create and optimize workflow processes. In this role you will lead initiatives related to designing and managing workflow automation projects, testing, and fixing bugs. To be successful, you will have experience in robotic process technologies like Blue Prism and UI Path. In the meantime, you will have many opportunities to join us in providing innovative digital capabilities working with emerging technologies like artificial intelligence aiming to accelerate Dow’s digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for Robotics opportunities as well as other ideation areas of focus like artificial intelligence by the business/functional teams.
  
• Drive the end-to-end solution to meet the automation requirement base on multi technology platform:
  AI, Blue Prism, UiPath, Python Script
  
• Work with other Finance robotics analyst &
  review the RPA solutiondesign base on requirements gathered.
  
• Drive requirements &
  design documentation for long term support of the solution.
  
• Work closely with business process teams, global functional teams, and other stakeholders to design and build the RPA project.
  
• Mentors newly trained robotics resources on best practices and development / design techniques
  

Key Skills &
Abilities

• Experience or knowledge with UiPath or other robotics process technologies.
  
• General knowledge of coding design principles use of agile development
  
• Having experience with SAP ECC/BW
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a major in Data and Analytics, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or 7 years of related job experience.
  
• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
  
• Familiarity with other robotics progress technologies (Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or others)
  
• General knowledge of Information technology work process, methodologies, and tools with a passion to learn modern technologies like AI and other citizen development tools within the Microsoft tool suite. (Including Agile and Scrum)
  
• Strong English communication skills to engage with customers regarding technical issues and scenarios, while effectively translating business context into technical language.
  
• Project experience in design &
  development particularly in the robotics process space is a plus.
