Requirements

We are seeking a Solution Architect is responsible for developing concepts using the latest technology to meet user requirements. This role involves collaborating closely with the Application Manager and other solution architects to design systems, including integrations with third-party external systems. The Architect ensures that solutions align with enterprise architectures and strategies while also influencing senior stakeholders to implement effective designs.
Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee overall cloud architecture, including technology, systems, and application software.
  
• Establish design and development standards for the development team.
  
• Advise development and infrastructure teams on Azure cloud technology implementation, including DevSecOps, containers, microservices, security, and DRaaS.
  
• Analyze business problems and opportunities to design technical solutions (Data Science, AI, ML) that add value to the business.
  
• Own the architecture solution and drive its delivery, ensuring security compliance and adherence to project milestones.
  
• Collaborate with IT functions to ensure comprehensive coverage from inception to production support and compliance.
  
• Highlight key architectural use cases and ensure principles are included in high-level design.
  
• Work with the Head of Technology to realize architecture into detailed design, adopting the 4+1 architectural view where applicable.
  

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Engineering/Science or a related field preferred.
  
• Minimum of 7 years of experience leading the design, development, and implementation of large-scale, highly available enterprise architecture systems with complex integrations.
  
• Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to cloud technology.
  
• Capable of reviewing the existing business environment and technology landscape to develop a 3-5 year architecture roadmap for technology transformation.
  
• Extensive experience with .NET, JavaScript, related technologies, and UML notation tools.
  
• In-depth knowledge of web application and database design considerations.
  
• Familiar with Microsoft technologies (OS, SQL, Azure – IaaS, PaaS).
  
• Knowledgeable about software change/configuration management and build processes in a complex environment.
