Key Responsibilities




Solution Sales


  • Drive pre-sales activities in support of company sales growth and strategy for Infrastructure (specifically on Systems and Storage)
  • Engage the customers the company would like to acquire with the support of the sales/marketing team and vendors to generate and engage these leads to present the company value proposition.
  • Engage, Present, Analyse, Propose, Negotiate and Convert qualified prospects into deals
  • Translate client requirements into solutions, and confident with an ability to handle pressure in critical situations by always ensuring that client requirements are met i.E., solutioning, POC verification, and traditional IT cloud solution design for public cloud projects
  • Work with the PMO, project and services delivery team to develop business proposals, scope of work and costing within certain gross margins before presenting to the clients.
  • Keep abreast and insight of competition, competitive issues and products.
  • Improve governance (policies, standards, guidelines) on successful delivery outcomes e.G., industry compliances, delivery frameworks/playbooks, port-mortem reviews


Cross Group Collaboration


  • Work closely with all technical group to on-board technical knowledge of solution offerings, inclusive of vendors and partners as needed
  • Support sales for all technical demo and Proof Of Concept (POC) requirement




Job Requirements


  • Degree or other equivalent
  • At least 8 years of experience;
    with minimum 3 years ofpresales experience and minimum 5 years of system and storage experience
  • Technical skills in the following areas:

  • Ability to design, Implement and support systems and storage
  • Technical knowledge of infrastructure in general including disaster recovery, backup and recovery, virtualization, containerization, automation and orchestration, infrastructure observability and security.
  • Hands on expertise with enterprise solutions e.G. Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Hitachi, IBM, Huawei, NetApp, Nutanix, RedHat, Microsoft, VMware, Oracle, Veritas, Veeam
  • Technical knowledge of cloud architectures
  • Technical knowledge of Security By Design Framework or Specific Industry Domain knowledge (e.G. FSI, Government, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Maritime, etc)
  • Certification will be an added advantage
  • Problem solving and prioritizing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams
  • Ability to efficiently understand client organisations, their business models and competent in tailoring relevant processes to privacy requirements
