PRODUCT AREA
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will be working closely with the Play Partnerships Apps + Media &
Entertainment (M&
E) team. You will be an steward of the business and a thought partner to the Apps Partnerships team. You will validate hypothesis, co-create the strategy and ultimately enable our world class partnerships team to grow the broader business.
You will be an excellent verbal and written communicator with a bias to action, able to collaborate effectively across regions, and be wiling to say 'no' when needed. You must also demonstrate the ability to get complex things done and drive organizational-wide impact.
You will also be a thought leader with a deep understanding of the mobile apps business &
Play's product goals. Comfortable communicating with senior leadership and escalating when programs aren't hitting to mark and identifying root cause, and course-correcting as needed.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with cross APAC Google Play Leadership and demonstrate strategic impact by aligning leads with intersecting goals
  • Develop and implement methods which further improve the operation and impact of the APAC Apps+M&
    E organization
  • Ensure that APAC Apps+M&
    E strategy is aligned with Global, well understood and actionable for our regional teams
  • Engage with global counterparts to influence the global strategy and ensure the challenges and opportunities in region are heard
  • Help define the APAC Apps+M&
    E strategy and ensuring execution against it. Communicate &
    champion the needs &
    complexities of different segments of the APAC ecosystem to Play's internal teams.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to lead large, complex, cross-functional projects
  • Program management experience
  • Ability to craft compelling narrative and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work with limited guidance, and drive strategic projects from ideation to execution in an ambiguous environment
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze research, develop insights, and apply insights to optimize strategy
