You will be a key technology partner to our customers in the Defence sector to thrive on developing the next breakthrough for the defence and security of Singapore. Working closely with the Solution Architect, Project Manager and Technical Lead, you will be part of a development team to develop, test and deploy system/network infrastructure as part of an overall project implementation.




Be Part of Our Success


The role as an System Safety (SS) Engineer, to be part of the System Engineering Team to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety in operation of training and simulation project systems considerations throughout its lifecycle. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and project management capabilities to support safety analyses and management of project system safety


  • Responsible for system safety engineering support to provide safety analyses and management of project system safety.
  • Work with the Project Management Team together with the system safety team and various stakeholders to address safety of the project system.
  • Develop System Safety Programme Plan (SSPP), Safety Assessment Report (SAR) with
  • Perform system and software safety tasks such as Preliminary Hazard List (PHL), Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), System Hazard Analysis (SHA), Subsystem Hazard analysis (SSHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Safety Critical Items/Characteristics Identification, Safety Requirement Verifications Checklist etc for munition/weapon programmes.
  • Identify safety and analyze mainly munition/weapon systems to identify hazards, categorize risks and recommend &
    track control measures to eliminate/ reduce the mishap risk.
  • Track and verify implementation of hazard control measures in the design, processes and procedures in systema and safety critical software function.
  • Participates and present in formal design reviews with customers to report on the safety program status, analyses and accomplishments.
  • Committee member to assist in the standardisation and enhancement of processes and methodologies for system safety.


Qualities We Value


  • Applicants with more than 3 years of relevant experience may be considered for more senior positions.
  • Familiar with safety standards and learn faster learner.
  • Experience in defence, vehicle, aerospace, marine or other complex systems environments will be an advantage.
  • Ability to understand system architecture diagram and flow chart.
  • Candidate must be meticulous and possess strong analytical mindset.
  • Good team player, and ability to interact well in diverse team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical writing skills.
  • Working location is in Ang Mo Kio and occasionally travelling is required.
