Tax Senior Analyst

Salt is looking for a TAX SENIOR ANALYST (Accounting Advisor) to join our client on a 12 months contract role.

This contract position will report to the Senior Manager, Tax and support APAC Tax team on various post Oracle Cloud go-live activities such as enhancements, rectifications and process documentation for Tax Fixed Asset Registers (“TFAR”), Indirect Tax (“IDT”) and Withholding Tax (“WHT”) setups and reporting.

Responsibilities include:

· Prepare TFAR adjustment upload templates for various APAC countries based on tax returns submitted and/or Accounting FAR, including clean up and reconciliation of TFAR to tax returns

· Execute and document testing relating to enhancements and rectifications of TFAR, IDT and WHT setups and reports

· Other direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting tasks as assigned which may include preparation of work papers and roll-forward schedules for CIT/GST/VAT returns, quarterly tax provisions and return to provision true-ups, compilation of additional information from Oracle Cloud and liaising with other Finance functions for tax matters, for various APAC entities.

Education/Experience

· Bachelor or Master in Accountancy or Finance.

· Minimum 3 years of progressive Finance/tax experience in big 4 and/or MNC with exposures to US and Asia Pacific Finance/tax compliance.

· Tax knowledge on how tax depreciation is calculated, GST/VAT/WHT mechanism would be an advantage.

· Experience with Oracle Cloud would be preferred.

· A detailed oriented, hands-on and analytical professional with strong communication and writing skills.

· Confident, self-starter with ability to work with minimal direction and supervision.

· A team-work oriented person with good interpersonal skills.

· Quick learner and action taker, ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressures and tight deadlines.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
