Project Planning and Management:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to manage expectations.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments for project team members and stakeholders.
- Track project progress and ensure that milestones are met on time.
Project Execution:
- Execute the project according to the project plan.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyse results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
Team Management:
- Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Facilitate communication within the project team and between the team and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
Risk Management:
- Identify and manage project risks and issues.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Monitor and report on project progress, problems, and solutions.
Quality Management:
- Ensure that all deliverables are up to the highest quality standards.
- Conduct project reviews and create recommendations to improve project management processes.
- Perform quality assurance checks on project documentation.
Resource Management:
- Manage project resource availability and allocation.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Skills for Success:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Proven working experience as a Technical Project Manager in the Information Technology sector.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in telecommunication, software development and web technologies.
- Experience in managing projects related to telecommunication, cybersecurity, AI/ML, or IoT.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry-specific project coordination tools and software.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
